ESL with digital ink
We have incorporated on our portfolio a full ESL solution for retail store management. Among the advantages of using this kind of system we can point the following:
– Real white background – Digital ink allows for the background to be really white with black and/or red characters. The white background allows for a better viewing angle.
– Battery failure does not affect the display – Even if batteries are exhausted the contents of the label will remain visible. This happens because the writing process only happens for a few seconds and, once done the contents will remain visible until they are changed again.
– Humidity and temperature resistance – This tags will operate under harsh situations like inside refrigerated enclosures and under produce sprinklers. Even though they are not fully waterproof they will withstand a lot of moist and a wide range of operating temperature.
– Proprietary wireless protocol – will push data on a different frequency than the frequencies used with traditional wifi networks. This prevents the system from being hacked.
– Tight integration with existing POS systems for quick updates – The system can use CSV files to update the labels over the air or a web-based control panel that allows for information maintenance as well as other technical tasks.
